As part of Islington Mill’s heritage events, funded by the National Lottery Heritage fund, Salford Slow Fashion CIC were commissioned for the “Room and Power” response. 

The textile pieces communicate stories from Islington mill’s timeline, from 1823 to present day. 

Featured in the exhibition was work made during workshops with year 5 and 6 students from St Philips primary school.
